Characters

Tomoto252 is a healing style illustration IP. Through the fresh and energetic illustration, as well as using anthropomorphic and exaggerated interaction between our lovely characters at school, these stories may resonate with the viewers and recall those special little tricks they did in their childhoods.
Our main character TOMOTO has a volcano on his head. When he loses his temper sometimes, the volcano may erupt at the same time. However, deep inside his heart he is actually gentle and kind. We hope to tell people every child has different needs and personal traits through these lovely characters.

Our creative team comes from different backgrounds including Taiwan and Hong Kong. We meant to use this IP to promote the concept: “All people are equal.” Everyone can reach their maximum potential if they have enough trainings. Beside creating extended peripheral products using our characters, we have designed our original brain-training board-games and published our children’s picture book.
We have been established over a year now, and we have been interviewed by different media platforms such as online podcasts and radios from both Taiwan and Hong Kong. Our picture book is also for sale across online and physical bookstores all over the world.
Beside actively participating in different illustration fairs and exhibitions, we have recently shared our experience in a seminar hosted in Taipei International Book Exhibition 2024. Furthermore, our fanbase has reached 5,600+ people currently in Instagram.

The founder of Tomoto252, Taft TSUI, is a multimedia content creator and front-line educator. He has 20+ years of experience in directing/scriptwriting. His main artworks include theatre performance, photoshoots and documentaries. Moreover, he has also spent 10+ years doing brain research in education. He has developed an educational program out of his own experience in order to help children to improve their cognitive abilities.
In recent years, he founded the brand “Tomoto252” and formed its own creative team, creating different peripheral products, brain-training board-games and children’s picture book.
